$2 for $25 restaurant certificates at Restaurant.com

The truth of the matter is that I like to eat out. a lot. Right now restaurant.com is doing a promotion through 11/30 where you can get a $25 for just $2 (or a $25 restaurant.com certificate for $2 for the holidays!).  To sweeten the deal even more I went through eBates. I was able to get an additional 30% back.   I ended up spending 1.40 each on 13 different certificates that I hadn't budgeted for, but I will have MONTHS of dates with my hubby!

Kodak Waterproof Mini Video camera 49.99

Targets best cyber monday daily deal by far (to me at least) is their Kodak waterproof mini video camera for 49.99 (which is regularly priced 99.99)  get it here. This is great if you spend lots of time around water activites. Actually, it is good whenever, there have been many times when I thought "a camera that won't break in the water sure would be nice right now"!

Home Depot Facebook Cyber monday exclusive

Quick! Friend the home depot now to get their facebook exclusive for cyber monday! They have a kitchen faucet that retails at $78 for $29 and has free shipping.

Step one Friend home depot on facebook
step 2 go to their profile and click buy now under the faucet

This deal won't last long for such a nice faucet.  It has a pull out spray hose (on the faucet) and a soap dispenser.  I would purchase it, but I just paid full price on one back in March!

My Walgreens Trip

Yesterday evening I made a trip to Walgreens. I was really running low on the dawn dish soap and they had the 10.3 oz on sale with the in ad coupon for .99 a piece.  I used to purchase whatever cheapest stroe brand I coule find prior to using coupons and realized that even without a sale, dawn ends up being the cheapest for me because it stretches further...store brand was NOT the way to go.  So anyway, you know the dawn commercials where they are trying to stretch a drop of soap? That was me cleaning my dishes the day after Thanksgiving!

I had plenty of register rewards left over and I found that I had a coupon as well for .25 off.  I did two transactions...
Transaction 1:
3 Dawn dish soaps
1 216 huggies wipe refill container

Total Before coupons: 11.96
in ad coupon took of $3
                              ______________
                                 8.96
-.25 coupon from sunday previous sunday insert
                             _________________
                                  8.71
I then used my $5 and 3.50 RR from Thanksgiving day sales and spent .21 plus tax! (I believe it ended up being .62)

Transaction 2:
3 dawn dish soaps @ 1.99  = 5.97
Hersheys chocolate bar     =    .89
-3 coupon                             3.-
 -.40 in ad coupon             ______
                                             3.46
- 3 RR
Total Paid .46 plus tax

I would also like to include that if you don't have any register rewards, these same dawns are on sale this week at cvs for .88 with your care card!

Right now you can order the entertainment books for 30% off and free shipping at entertainment.com.

If you plan to get the entertainment book I would highly recommend this deal.

Cheap Similac

Many stores have the similac concentrate for under $4.00 and target has the ready to feed formula for 3.82 making this .82 for one days worth of infant formula!!

Coupons.com let me print two of the $3 off coupons (the ones I printed expire 11/24, yours might expire later, comment and let me know)

similac.com also let me print two off until 1/31/11. Hopefully they will renew it after that too.

I'm hoping the coupons.com ones will refresh at the end of this month, as they have the previous two months.

Groupon

I LOVE to eat out at new restaurants. I also love groupon.  Currently for just $10 you can get $20 worth of food at Atlas Grill in Virginia Beach, mmmm. I'm excited for a cheap date night with my husband!  They have a new deal each day, things I have gotten previously include laser hair removal ($99) and hour long batting cage rentals ($12 for up to 5 people).  To join and see the deals each day click here

If you have young children like me, this is a great sale.

$2.50 off Little snugglers or little movers here (6.49)

Please keep an eye out around 11 AM Thanksgiving day, as I will post a list of GREAT buys that you will want to leave the house for!

My Target shopping trip

These offers are only good through tomorrow 11/24 so if you see something you must have, please hurry!

Asparagus 12 oz 1.49
Gold medal flour 5 pound bag 1.50

Kraft shredded or block Cheese 1.80 (or.75 with coupons!) regularly $3.60
I purchased 2 of the sharp cheddar 10.8 oz blocks.  I printed the $1/2 from target and two of the .55 off of 1 coupons from there as well.

Did I mention target will "stack" coupons?  Stacking is when a store will take a manufactures coupon and a store coupon. this makes this cheese .75 a block, that is a savings of almost $3 so head over there if you are making mac and cheese this Thanksgiving!

Stove Top stuffing .79 (or .04 with coupons)
While you are at Target.com printing coupons for cheese print the .50/2 stovetop coupons here. And print the $1/2 coupon here. Buy 2 boxes at .04 each :)

The leapfrog tag system books on sale and they are B1G1 free.  Leapfrog tag book coupon for $5.00 off any one tag book priced 9.99 or higher.  This makes these 2 for $5, or two free if the cashier will ring through two of the coupons (watch a short video here and get another leapfrog coupon)

This trip I also used my $5 off any fisher price toy priced 19.99 or higher from the target toy book and got the Little People airport (reg priced 39.99) for 14.99.

Ebates

Ebates is an easy way to make some extra money, ESPECIALLY with the holidays and all of the spending you might be doing online.  Maybe you weren't planning on spending online, but ebates makes it cheaper.  There are many sites you might normally shop at that average a 3%-6% payout....why miss out?!

One of my favorite places to shop for items that are luxury items I cannot find coupons for is eBay.  On ebates I also get back money for shopping there. In fact, for items I commonly use, I purchase my coupons off ebay as well! Imagine that!

Sign up by clicking here!

Here we go...

This will be my first post of hopefully many.  For quite some time I have been saying to people "wait, I have a coupon for that" or responding to a friend saying they need a certain item by telling them how to get it cheap or free that week.  Before I began couponing I was budgeting about $800 a month for food and diapers!  Currently, I budget half that amount and spend approx. $250 on food, diapers, misc and dates with my husband (and we usually go out about twice a month on a date).

I'm really excited to show people how they can live an easier life with maximizing savings and minimizing efforts :)
